Pointe aux Piments

Pte aux Piments is a small fishing village on the north western coast of the island, that has blossomed in the last years due to the adjacent touristical developments.
This spot is only useable for surfing, and the usual other touristical activities such as sunbathing, waterskiing, etc.

1. The wave brakes on two different spots here (both lefts):the pass on the left of the village, good for beginners and not too heavy braking or reef.
2. The main wave, also called "Tagor" is not for the faint hearted, breaking super shallow over coral, but also a pure delight for the 'conaisseur'.

It is situated smack in the middle of the village, and is not breaking in a pass like most waves here, but on an indentation in the reef, called a 'fausse pass' locally. This spot will only work on west, south west swell, just like Tamarin bay, so not all that frequent through the year.
